Chick Pea and Tomato Salad

This is a salad I just threw together one night because my husband love chick peas. Its easy and delicious.

1 can chick peas drained and rinsed(cold)
1 large tomato chopped
1 small red onion diced
1 can artichokes quartered (I use the ones in water but the marinated can be used)
1 tbs dry oregano
olive oil
red wine vinegar
salt
pepper

Toss everything together and add olive oil and vinegar to taste. Let sit about 10 minutes so flavors develop.

Note: You can also use hearts of palm instead of artichokes
