SHEPHERD'S PIE

Ingredients:

1 lb of ground beef
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables
1 can of diced tomatoes with Italian herbs
1 jar of beef gravy
1 can of beer (I usually use a light beer)
1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Directions:

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 12 inch skillet with cooking spray. Add beef and onion, cook over medium heat 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked then drain.
Add frozen vegetables, tomatoes, beef gravy and beer to beef mixture. Reduce heat to medium low heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Then spoon beef mixture into ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
Make mashed potato's at least a serving for 8. Place mashed potato's ontop of beef mixture. Make sure beef is covered with the mashed potato's.
Then place in oven for 20-25 minutes.
Once done take out of oven and let cool for 5 minutes and serve.
